Albert James Warne was born on the 11th February 1869 in Carmarthen.  By 1881 the family had moved from Carmarthen and were living at Williams Row, High Street, Bersham.  Albert, like his father worked as a lead miner.

Albert left the Wrexham area to work in Johannesburg, South Africa.  At the time of his death, on the 17th April 1895, he was using the postal address of, Box 122, Geldenhuis Estate, Johannesburg.  The sources are uncertain, but it has been speculated on that Albert had become involved in mining diamonds in South Africa and that this is what he was doing when he was accidently killed.
